Recepient of Alexander Hollander Award from International Environmental Mutagen Society. Visting Professor at Osaka University, Japan Aug 1999- Nov. 1999. Invited speaker and chairman of scientific sessions in several international meetings in India and abroad. Was member of Faculty of Science in MS University of Baroda and Board of studies in Biochemistry in University of Mumbai. Research guide for Ph.D. for M.G. University, Mumbai University and Manipal University. Guided more than 100 dissertations at Masters level from several Universities in India and 8 Ph.D. theses from University of Mumbai and coguided one Ph.D from Manipal University. Member Governing Body and Professor of Radiation Biology at Amala Cancer Research Centre, Thrissur, Kerala.
